Japanese beauty giant Shiseido has announced the appointment of Franck Marilly as the new President and CEO of Shiseido Group EMEA, commencing 1st January, 2018.
Reporting to Masahiko Uotani, President and Group CEO, Shiseido, Marilly’s role will involve taking responsibility of boosting EMEA results and overseeing activities within the region for all Group brands and businesses. Additionally Marilly will ‘lead and support’ global brand holders to boost profitable growth in the global market for brands Dolce & Gabbana beauty, Fragrance Designer Brands (Alaïa Paris, Elie Saab, Issey Miyake, Narciso Rodriguez, Zadig&Voltaire) and Serge Lutens.
Uotani said of the appointment, “In the second stage of Group VISION 2020 for EMEA, Franck Marilly will drive acceleration of business transformation across diverse functions of Regional Head Quarter and further integration of organizations within the Region. His main focus will be to achieve profitability within the region and keep on building talents and capabilities as well as driving fragrances and cosmetics brands.”
Marilly joins the company with more than 25 years’ experience in the beauty and luxury industries, having worked as Managing Director Europe Fragrance & Beauty division for Chanel, as well as management positions for Unilever.
