Japanese skin care brand Shiseido is looking to accelerate its growth in China with the launch of the new Vital Perfection anti-wrinkle cream.
Having previously launched in other countries, the cream has recently been recognized by the Japanese Health Ministry and will launch into both Japan and China on 1st November.
The first anti-wrinkle cream for the company in mainland China, the product, which is produced in Japan, will be mainly sold in department stores in both countries, also rolling out across Shiseido’s e-commerce site in Japan.
Targeting the premium market with a price tag of $118 (13,000 yen) the launch is hoped to lure in the growing number of Chinese consumers that continue to look for a range of beauty products.
