Shiseido Americas has agreed to sell its ReVive skin care line to private equity firm Tengram Capital Partners, according to a report published by ACQ5. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but completion is expected by the end of the month.

“ReVive is a wonderful skincare brand. We are confident it will be well supported by Tengram while Shiseido focuses on continuing growth across our strategic portfolio of brands and businesses,” said Marc Rey, President and CEO of Shiseido Americas.

“The ReVive brand has strong growth prospects, and we look forward to investing in key areas to enable the brand to thrive,” added Richard Gersten, Partner at Tengram.
