Silab launches anti-aging ingredient inspired by regenerative medicine

Silab has unveiled a new anti-aging ingredient inspired by the advances in regenerative medicine on bone tissue. Eternaline is said to be capable of stimulating the synthesis of periostin, a regenerative protein in the extracellular cutaneous matrix integral to maintaining homeostasis and tissue architecture.

Tested in vivo, Eternaline was found to consolidate dermal tissue, reducing general sagging at the base of the face, leaving skin firmer and more toned with fewer wrinkles.

Eternaline boasts natural origin, derived from oligosaccharide-rich common shrubby everlasting (Helichrysum stoechas), and is free from preservatives with a traceable, controlled supply chain. The new ingredient is compliant with cosmetic regulations in Europe, the US, Japan and China.
