Trefis has revealed the strategies fuelling success for L’Oréal’s Active Cosmetics units in a report published by Nasdaq. The segment achieved the highest year-on-year growth of all the French beauty giant’s divisions last year, up 8 percent on a like-for-like basis.
Trefis speculated that L’Oreal’s market leadership in this category can be attributed to a number of winning tactics, including strong partnerships with health care professionals, which informs the French beauty giant’s R&D, and a multi-channel approach, which helps L’Oréal reach a wider audience.
The company also staged a Global Summit of Pharmacy Leaders, offering training in digital sales and skin care solutions to some 300 retailers in the field.
