It has been reported that L’Oréal is set to disclose information about a future investment in Greece, following a meeting between Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and L’Oréal International CEO Jean-Paul Agon in Paris last month.
The company is thought to be eyeing opportunities to invest in the struggling country, with it previously being active from 1971 to 1999 with its Greek Subsidiary L’Oréal Hellas.
This arm of the company closed its doors due to an earthquake damaging its operation headquarters in Athens, however, it is thought this is one way in which L’Oréal could once again enter the market.
According to Tornosnews.gr, there has been speculation over what involvement the company will have in the country, and partnership possibilities, with natural cosmetics producer Apivita being highlighted as a potential.
