Skin care company St Ives has launched its first pop-up experiential mixing bar in New York, where consumers will be inviting to create their own face scrubs and lotions.
Tapping in to the growing trend for experiential store experiences, the St Ives Mixing Bar will be the first of its kind for the company and occupies an 1800 square foot space where buyers can choose from 50 ingredient combinations to create their own products. It will run until 30 July.
Suzanne Palentchar, St. Ives Marketing Director, says, “The introduction of the St. Ives Mixing Bar is an exciting and completely new way for our fans to experience St. Ives. “Inspired by the best of nature, we’re thrilled to unveil the Mixing Bar this summer where guests can create their own unique St. Ives face scrubs and body lotions, all while learning about the benefits our ingredient-led products provide.”
Other features of the shop are an education ingredients wall, sink stations to sample existing products and a mirrored infinity room full of life-sized apricots, pitched as a good photo opportunity.
