Strong growth in the Middle East prompts Prism Group’s Kindus perfumes to eye Iranian market

Prism Group’s luxury fragrance brand, Kindus perfumes, has enjoyed great success since the launch of its Oud-inspired scents in the UAE and GCC markets. According to Prism Group CEO Mohammed Abdul Jalil Musabih, the company has witnessed triple-digit growth in the UAE, and similar success in the GCC, with double-digit growth in the more mature Saudi Arabian and Oman markets.

“We recognise that we have a strong and highly successful product in Kindus perfumes, however to ensure we maintain this upward trend, we hope to expand our product range, by adding Dokhoon, Oud Maatar and three new spray products, and our geographic reach. We especially have our eyes on Iran,” said Musabih.

Iran is the second biggest market for cosmetics in the Middle East region by revenue, second only to Saudi Arabia, and the seventh largest globally. With sanctions easing, several brands are considering entry into this lucrative, yet unexploited market.
