THE WHAT? Tarte Cosmetics has bolstered its all-female leadership team with the appointment of Samantha Kitain as Chief Marketing Officer, effective immediately.

THE DETAILS Kitain takes on the role from her previous position of Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing and will join the executive team of Kim Tran, Chief Operating Officer and Heather Hemsley, Chief Accounting Officer.

THE WHY? Founder and CEO Maureen Kelly lauded the exclusively female leadership at the company, calling Kitain as ‘inspiring.’ 

She stated, “I’m so proud of this tarte team and all that they’ve accomplished together with me over the years – these amazing, smart women have been critical in contributing to tarte’s success. It’s been so inspiring watching Sam come into this role and I’m confident that she’ll help us take the brand to the next level.”
