The Beauty Chef poised to launch skin care line as Point King Capital invests AU$10 million

Australian ingestibles brand, The Beauty Chef has received a AU$10 million cash injection from new fund Point King Capital which will enable it to fund further research into the microbiome and launch a skin care line, according to a report published by WWD.

The brand has been working on a skin care line for three years, per WWD, and has hired a new Chief Operating Officer, Laurence Crussol, to enable founder Carla Oates to focus on product development.

“My goal for The Beauty Chef is for us to be the global lifestyle and beauty brand of choice by 2022, recognised worldwide as an authority and innovator in holistic beauty and wellness.
