THE WHAT? The Body Shop Australia has teamed up with LGBTQIA+ youth advocate Minus 18 to launch the Out for Love campaign, which aims to encourage young queer people to take part in a national survey in order to highlight the issues that matter most to them.
THE DETAILS The Natura &Co-owned brand is also supporting the Self Care series on TikTok, created by independent Australian production company Slag Productions that champions LGBTQIA+ voices and female empowerment.
It has also launched three limited edition Out For Love highlighters. AU$2 from every Highlighter sold will be donated to the Minus18 Young Leaders Program.
THE WHY? The ethical beauty brand said in a statement on its website, “We’re tired of young LGBTQIA+ voices being silenced and excluded from conversations and decisions that directly impact them. So we’re doing something about it.”
