THE WHAT? Global Retail Director for The Body Shop, Linda Campbell has stepped down from her role at the Natura &Co-owned ethical beauty retailer, according to a report published by the Retail Gazette.

THE DETAILS Campbell was promoted to the role in January but is understood to have resigned in November. Her successor is yet to be announced.

THE WHY? Campbell posted on her LinkedIn account, “My passionate belief is that business can be fun…’ a treasured quote from The Body Shop’s Founder, Anita Roddick. Over the past eight years, as UK and ROI MD and over the past year as the Global Retail Director, it has been exactly that! But it’s time to move on to a new chapter of my life and career and take a moment to reset, reflect and enjoy some quality time with my family before taking a new challenge.”
