THE WHAT? Sam Cheow has been named as The Estée Lauder Companies Senior Vice President, Global Trends and Makeup Product Development & Innovation Portfolio.
THE DETAILS Reporting to Carl Haney, EVP Research, Product & Innovation Officer, Cheow will be accountable for the global Makeup innovation portfolio, working closely with Stéphane de La Faverie, Executive Group President, and Makeup Category Lead.
As part of his role, Cheow will be tasked with overseeing make-up portfolio innovation, leading the external make-up innovation portfolio and working with the Enterprise Marketing & Data (EM&D) to ‘identify, accelerate, and scale emerging product, concept, form and consumer trends.’
THE WHY? Cheow’s new position is the latest in a string of appointments for ELC, starting at the end of 2022, with the beauty giant updating its travel retail leadership team, naming a new VP/GM of Jo Malone London UK & Ireland, and naming Lahnie Strange as Senior Vice President, Global General Manager, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics.
