Unilever breaks ground on Cuban factory

Unilever has broken ground on its planned facility located in Cuba’s special economic development zone.

The US$35 million joint venture with the Cuban government will see the Anglo-Dutch FMCG giant produce personal care products for local and international distribution.

The factory is expected to generate 300 jobs and will be managed by Unilever.
