Unilever CEO Paul Polman’s vision and commitment to spreading the sustainability message has been recognized by the Ad Council via its coveted Public Service Award, according to a report published by The Drum.
“Acting for good is the most powerful voice in the world,” said Polman as he accepted his award at the non-profit’s 64th Annual Public Service Award Dinner last week, which was attended by 1,500 media and marketing professionals.
“This year’s dinner was a truly sensational and inspiring celebration of all our industry does for social good,” said Lisa Sherman, Ad Council President and CEO. “When we come together, there is no doubt that we transform distinct and altruistic moments into collective movements that impact millions of people throughout the country.”
