Unilever ‘committed’ to growth of manufacturing in Nigeria

The President of Unilever’s African arm has revealed that the company is committed to ‘actively contributing’ to the growth of Nigeria’s manufacturing sector, according to a report published by Vanguard.

Bruno Witvoet made the comments while on a visit to the Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai. While there, Witvoet signed a memorandum of understanding, pledging support for the Kaduna Emergency Nutrition Action Plan as part of the company’s sustainable living plan.

On the same visit, the governor assured the team from Unilever that any expansion plan would receive government assistance.
