Unilever Nigeria has relaunched its Closeup toothpaste brand with a new logo, formulation and the appointment of pop star Davido as brand ambassador.
The re-launch affects three variants of the Closeup range: Deep Action Red Hot, Naija Herbal Gel and Herbal Paste. The formulations have been altered to include micro-shine crystals and zinc, which the brand claims kill 99.9 percent of germs and provide 12 hours of fresh breath.
The strapline of the new campaign focuses upon the affects achieved through the new formulation stating: “For 12 hours fresh breath: This is not just a toothpaste, this is Closeup.
Davido has been brought on board as the company’s part effort to attract a younger market of consumers.
