Unilever NV has announced the appointment of Marta Dalton as Director of Global e-commerce, luring her away from her current role as Director of B2B e-commerce for Coca Cola.
According to Unilever, Dalton will be tasked with, “collaborating with information technology on e-commerce technology needs, expanding use of existing implementations and bringing these capabilities to new markets around the globe.”
Based in Pittsburgh, Dalton will report to Badri Narayanan, Global Vice President of B2B e-commerce, while also working as part of the global e-commerce membership group.
Focusing predominately on growing the company’s international e-commerce business, the spokesperson continued, “Marta will focus on growing business-to-business and business-to-business-to-consumer, or B2B2C, e-commerce across Unilever.
“Unilever has existing implementations for B2B and B2B2C in several markets, the most notable being CompraUnilever in Brazil.”
