Unilever on the hunt for new CFO as Pitkethly to retire

THE WHAT? Unilever’s Chief Financial Officer, Graeme Pitkethly has announced his intention to retire from the UK-based FMCG manufacturer by the end of May, 2024. Consequently, the Board will initiative a formal internal and external hunt for his successor.

THE DETAILS In addition, Chief Digital and Commercial Officer, Conny Braams has tendered her resignation, effective as of August this year. No reason was given for her departure and her replacement is yet to be announced.

THE WHY? Unilever CEO Alan Jope, commented, “I would like to thank Graeme for his tremendous contribution to Unilever over the last 21 years. As CFO, he has brought great leadership to our company and been instrumental in sharpening our strategy and driving a step-up in our operational performance.
