Unilever’s Lynx brand has launched a new tongue-in-cheek advertising campaign across TV, digital and social in collaboration with Emotive Content, according to a report published by AdNews.
The campaign, designed to promote new fragrance Lynx Australia, is a humorous play on the rivalry between Australia and New Zealand and stars New Zealand-born actor Julian Dennison.
“We wanted to use our brand’s heritage in humor and attraction to create something that highlights our country’s charm as well as the brand’s personality,” John McKeon, Unilever Marketing Director for Personal Care told AdNews. “Attraction is part of our DNA and we want anyone who uses Lynx Australia (even the Kiwis) to feel attractive and confident.”
