Unilever receives Salzberg Medallion for supply chain sustainability

Unilever has been awarded the prestigious Salzberg Medallion for its performance in supply chain sustainability.

The prize is awarded annually by The Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University to individuals and organizations for their contributions in transportation, logistics and supply chain management. Candidates are nominated each year by former recipients and distinguished practitioners in the field.

Unilever’s environment-focussed philosophy, which has seen the Anglo-Dutch FMCG giant implement a zero waste program across its global operations, has set an industry benchmark for sustainable sourcing, according to officials.
