Houston-based Farouk Systems has announced a joint venture with South Korean cosmetics giant LG Household & Health Care. Through the joint venture, the companies have created a co-owned South Korean corporation, named LG Farouk Co.

The new company will establish a manufacturing facility in Korea to serve distribution channels in Asia, with the two firms collaborating on product development.

In addition, Farouk Systems will take on the distribution of LG Household & Health Care’s skin care portfolio through its worldwide professional salon network.

Together, we will be able to create and manufacture a whole new future of technology for the beauty industry,” said Farouk Shami, Founder of Farouk Systems.
