THE WHAT? LG Household & Health Care will market a novel toothpaste formulation on the North American market after receiving approval from the US Food & Drugs Administration, according to a report published by Business Korea.
THE DETAIL The oral care product in question is formulated with stannous fluoride, said to prevent tooth decay, gum inflammation and reduce sensitivity. LG Household & Health Care has incorporated anti-oxidation technology in order to stabilize the ingredient.
THE WHY? The K-beauty giant plans to launch the toothpaste in the US and Europe before the end of the year, under the Perioe and Reach brands respectively.
