Latasha Y McRae, the founder and CEO of US beauty brand Peeks Cosmetics, has been recognized by Continental’s Who’s Who among Pinnacle Professionals in the field of Manufacturing and Distribution.

McRae founded Peeks Cosmetics, which specializes in vitamin E lip glosses, mint-infused lipsticks, long-lasting eyeshadows and high-fashion shade nail shiners, following an illness which saw her fall into a coma for three weeks.

After a two-year recovery, McRae graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management in 2007 and founded the brand, which celebrated its one-year anniversary in March.

McRae has also been recognized by the National Association of Professional Women as 2014 VIP Woman of the Year, and maintains affiliation with the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, National Black MBA Asoociation, Walk for Cancer for Kids and Walk for Lupus.
