THE WHAT? The US Supreme Court has refused to hear a gender bias case brought against Procter & Gamble by a former employee, according to a report published by HR Drive.
THE DETAILS The Supreme Court agreed with a ruling by the US Circuit Court of Appeals that the P&G employee had not proven pretext and had been let go as a result of violating company policy on vendor contracts.
THE WHY? Affirming a ruling by the US Circuit Court of Appeals, the court found that the employee was unable to prove that the company’s reasons for dismissing her were tied to discrimination.
