Victoria Beckham enters skincare space with Augustinus Bader collaboration

The what? Victoria Beckham has launched her first skincare product in collaboration with German stem-cell scientist Professor Augustinus Bader – named the Cell Rejuvenating Priming Moisturizer.

The details The product launch is Beckham’s first foray into skincare following the success of her beauty range, with the item said to be a make-up/skincare hybrid, working to prime and moisturize the skin.

Announcing the collaboration via her Instagram page, Beckham wrote, “It has been a dream to develop, with Augustinus, a priming moisturizer that works to improve the health of my skin and gives that fresh, natural glow that I love.”

Talking of the prestige product, she said, “Infused with powerful actives, the Cell Rejuvenating Priming Moisturiser is clinically tested and shown to help support cell turnover and improve radiance, plump and tone skin, while immediately minimising the appearance of pores and imperfections.”

The why? Having hinted at an imminent skincare launch back in March 2018 via a Facebook Live chat at her Dover Street store, the moisturizer is undoubtedly a natural progression for the fashion designer following the successful launch of her namesake beauty range. Having also hinted at a new fragrance launch – could that be the next trick up her sleeve in her bid to conquer the beauty world?
