THE WHAT? Victoria Beckham Beauty has announced the launch of a line of luxury fragrances. The new line is said to autobiographical with each of the three scents inspired by a different recollection from the former Spice Girl’s life.

THE DETAILS Portofino ’97, for example, is inspired by burgeoning romance – no prizes for guessing which one, the fashion designer met her footballer husband in 1997. Suite 302, meanwhile, is said to conjure whirlwind weekends in Paris, and San Ysidro Drive has been composed with energizing and healing notes of passion fruit and pink peony.

THE WHY? Luxury fragrance sales have been booming of late so it’s a natural next step for the beauty brand.
