THE WHAT? Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. (WBA) announced that Rosalind Brewer has resigned as CEO and from the Company’s Board.

THE DETAILS   WBA’s Board has chosen Ginger Graham, previously the Lead Independent Director at WBA, to act as the interim CEO. Meanwhile, Brewer will remain as an advisor to WBA during the search for a full-time CEO.

THE WHY?  Stefano Pessina, WBA’s Executive Chairman, expressed confidence in Ginger Graham’s ability to serve as the interim CEO, highlighting her extensive leadership background in healthcare and deep understanding of WBA.
