THE WHAT? Walgreens Boots Alliance has announced two key executive leadership positions. Anita Allemand was appointed Chief Transformation and Integration Officer and Holly May was named Executive Vice President and Global Chief Human Resources Officer.
THE DETAILS Allemand joins WBA from UnitedHealthGroup where she was Senior Vice President of Health Solutions for Optum. In the newly created role, she will be responsible for supporting CEO Roz Brewer as a strategic thought leader and to establish the loverall transformation agenda for the drugstore operator.
Prior to joining WBA, May served as Global Chief Human Resources Officer for Abercrombie & Fitch, and, in her new position, will be responsible for the streatgy and direction of innovative global HR programs, policies and practices that support WBA’s business goals and initiatives.
