THE WHAT? Walmart Connect has announced a series of Innovation Partners, namely TikTok, Snap Inc, Firework, TalkShopLive and Roku, in a bid to help advertisers to reach shoppers on leading platforms where they are increasingly spending their time as the media funnel collapses.
THE DETAILS The strategic partnerships provide ‘test and learn’ opportunities with social, entertainment, t-commerce and live streaming throughout the holiday season. The US retail behemoth’s Connect arm will work with each partner to more deeply connect advertisers with customers throughout key moments in the shopper journey.
THE WHY? Walmart Connect is hoping to help suppliers and sellers to reach shoppers wherever they are via its new ad formats.
