THE WHAT? Dior Beauty has launched its fall make-up collection, according to a report published by CR Fashion Book. The LVMH-owned brand’s Birds of a Feather line plays with the concepts behind its whimsical title, with looks for both early birds and night owls and features a feather motif.
THE DETAILS On shelf from August 1, the collection is built around complementary colours and features four eyeshadow palettes, eyeliners, nail polish and lipsticks.
THE WHY? Peter Philips, Dior Beauty’s Creative and Image Director, told CR Fashion Book, “I like the idea of a collection of complementary colours, where you can combine iridescent effects and pigments, green, pink and golden and platinum tones. Birds of a Feather is a realm of possibilities that allows you to create fall make-up looks that can be dramatic, sexy or natural.”
