Perfect Corp and Hearst Magazines have announced a partnership which will see the digital disrupter pair its YouCam augmented reality tech with the content of Cosmopolitan magazine to bring the products featured in the magazine to life.
The partnership will debut in the October issue via an 8-page native content package with Macy’s. The look featured within can be instantly translated into a virtual try-on with readers using a smart device to capture a QR code which will direct them to a dedicated page on the magazine’s website. Users can also shop the look direct from the page.
