YouTube has announced the launch of a new offshoot site named YouTube.com/Fashion, which aims to capitalize on the solid growth it has seen in beauty and fashion content.
The new vertical aims to capitalize on the sheer volume of style and beauty content and will offer consumers a more structured site with features such as tips, industry collaborations, live streams from the runways, and vlogs from fashion stalwarts.
YouTube Fashion will now be a separate section on the site alongside Gaming, Movies, Shows, Premium and Live. The new launch was announced on the official YouTube blog with the site stating it aims to, “create an ultimate destination for style content that bridges both our fabulous endemic creator community and the more traditional worlds of fashion and beauty.”
Names that are being promoted as content creators on the channel include Camila Coehlo and Huda Beauty and will feature brands such as Dior, Gucci and Louis Vuitton.
