YSL Beauté has announced that singer Dua Lipa will be the face of its next women’s fragrance launch, according to a report published by WWD. The as yet unnamed scent is set to be unveiled in September this year.
“The voice of her generation, Dua LIpa embodies the values of independence and freedom, which have always been part of Yves Saint Laurent’s DNA,” Stephen Bezy, International GM of YSL Beauté at L’Oréal told WWD.
Lipa is the most streamed female artist worldwide, and was the youngest female artist ever to rack up more than a billion views on YouTube for her single, New Rules. According to a post on her Instagram account, the 23-year-old played ‘a small role’ in choosing the scent and the campaign was shot by Nabil. ;required&quo
