Henkel opens first Beauty Care Lab in the Middle East

Henkel has cut the ribbon on its first Beauty Care laboratory in the Middle East region. The Dubai facility boasts state-of-the-art technology allowing the team to design and test beauty products specifically for local consumers and stands as a symbol of the German FMCG manufacturer’s commitment to the region.

“At Henkel Beauty Care we are constantly working on perfecting our products and services to accommodate to the specific needs of our customers and consumers across the world. The opening of our first Beauty Care laboratory in the Middle East will further strengthen our expertise and capabilities to cater to the important growth markets in this region,” said Jens-Martin Schwarzler, Executive Vice President Beauty Care.

Malek Dardour, Cluster Head MEA Beauty Care Retail added, “Dubai as a business and innovation hub serves as the ideal location for our new laboratory. The opening of the Lab is a significant milestone in advancing our regional product portfolio and highlights our commitment to the region with Dubai as a hub.”

  1. The Middle Eastern beauty market is growing, fuelled by a growth in middle classes,
    a rapid rise in demand for branded and upscale products and an improved retail infrastructure.
    This move by Henkel therefore makes great sense in today`s vibrant and emerging
    Middle Eastern economies.
