THE DETAILS Stores in Nairobi will now carry Fenty Beauty, Chanel, Estée Lauder, and Woolworths’ WBeauty line. The move builds on expansions in Namibia and Botswana. CEO Roy Bagattini said beauty sales have doubled to over 1 billion rand (US$58 million) in two years, with plans to double again.
THE WHY? The retailer is capitalising on rising demand for premium beauty across Africa, positioning Kenya as a key market for future growth.
