The Estée Lauder Companies has awarded its EMEA media account to Dentsu Aegis following a competitive pitch, according to a report published by The Drum.
The business is thought to be worth in the region of €30 million and was previously held by Omnicom-owned OMD who continue to hold the UK account, which was excluded from the review.
Lauder’s global review of its US$400 million spend is ongoing. The company is said to be planning to up digital spend in the second half and bring more digital talent in house.
“We are increasing social media activities on our big brands and on our mid-sized brands and on some of our new acquisitions,” read the transcript of the US prestige giant’s latest earnings call, per The Drum.
