L’Oréal Brazil has named Andrea Iorio as Chief Digital Officer, according to a report published by Forbes.
Iorio is charged with driving internal and external innovation on the digital front while continuing to develop a digital culture across the business. He joins L’Oréal Brazil from Tinder where he has worked for the past five years as head of the Latin America division.
“The question for any company nowadays is no longer whether to implement a digital strategy or not but rather how to implement such strategies,” said Iorio in an interview with Forbes. “In that context, the CDO has a dual role: as well as bringing a technical vision about digital into the company, the role is also responsible for bringing a digital culture into the DNA of departments.”
