SC Johnson has announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire Method and Ecover from People Against Dirty. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Method is a leading supplier of natural, biodegradeable household cleaners, laundry supplies, personal care products and soap, while Ecover is known for its environmentally friendly cleaning and laundry products, as well as naturals-based hand soap.

“Method and Ecover have a strong tradition of innovation and delivering on consumers’ needs. They are a great complement to SC Johnson’s trusted line-up of iconic brands,” commented Fisk Johnson, Chairman and CEO of SC Johnson.

The transaction is subject to regulatory approval in the US, UK and Germany.
