Beiersdorf has awarded its US media planning and buying account to OMD following a competitive pitch including agencies such as previous account holder Carat and a GroupM ‘solution’ of experts from multiple agencies in the WPP network.
OMD has taken the responsibilities from Carat, which originally won the account in 2010.
Beiersdorf General Manager for North America Alvaro Alonso said, “We were immediately impressed with OMD. It is the first win for OMD since the appointment of new CMO Laurel Rossi.
