THE WHAT? Natura &Co has quashed rumors that it is considering the sale of The Body Shop or the spin off of its Aesop brand, according to a report published by Reuters.

THE DETAILS In a securities filing, per Reuters, the Brazilian owner of Avon and Natura said that it is not ‘conducting any study about a possible spinoff’ or planning the sale of any brand.

THE WHY? Speculation has been mounting about the future of Natura &Co’s various business units – particularly The Body Shop – following a set of disappointing results in the most recent quarter.
